Welcome!
I’m Irit Yaffe, a clinical dietitian with nearly 20 years of experience specializing in diabetes management, kidney disfunction and other chronic conditions. I earned my degree in Nutritional Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and throughout my career, I have had the privilege of treating thousands of patients across various settings, including diabetes clinics within major healthcare systems and a high-risk pregnancy clinic.
I firmly believe in the power of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to optimize health. When we align the right nutritional "fuel" with our bodies, we often see significant improvements in health indicators. My expertise spans the full spectrum of diabetes care, from pre-diabetes and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes—including those on medication and insulin treatment—to patients utilizing advanced technologies like insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems. I also address other chronic conditions, such as fatty liver disease, kidney failure, hyperlipidemia, and gout.
In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive training in diverse fields. For many years, I have led groups focused on healthy lifestyle choices for individuals with diabetes and have lectured on various topics for both healthcare professionals and the general public.
I am dedicated to guiding patients through lifestyle and dietary changes that enhance their health and quality of life. Whether through targeted short-term interventions or comprehensive, long-term support for complex chronic conditions.
I am here to help you achieve your health goals!
